This Local Government Renewable Energy and Enregy Efficiency Strategy Guide provides a clear programme of action for local government to promote the development of energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) in line with national policy direction and within local governance mandates. It also offers technical support, led by SALGA, to strengthen the capacity of municipalities to undertake this work.
