Advisor for Energy Policy and Regulation

Andreas, a seasoned energy professional, embarked on his journey with SAGEN in 2023, dedicated to driving the transformation of the power sector. With a rich background in the German energy sector, Andreas has held diverse roles, with a primary emphasis on grid management, regulation, cooperation with municipalities, policy advise and energy sales. Armed with a diploma in Business Administration and National Economics, he brings a well-rounded skill set to the table. Presently, Andreas is, among others, working on the regulation of the South African energy market, the reform of the electricity distribution industry and a cost of supply system for the energy industry.
