Head of Component for Power Systems and Embedded Generation

Philipp is currently Head of Component for power systems and embedded generation. He has a Dipl.-Ing. in Renewable Energies (equivalent to MSc Engineering). Prior to joining SAGEN in 2018, Philipp was an Energy Advisor at the Ministry of Finance and Energy in Grenada for 2.5 years, contributing significantly to the country’s energy transition efforts. Philipp’s extensive experience also encompasses a seven-year tenure as Team Lead for Photovoltaic Expert Studies at the German Solar Energy Society. In this role Philipp also acted as a lecturer, co-author of guidebooks and served on standardisation comittees and advisory bodies. Prior to that, he worked as a Product Manager for photovoltaic tracking and mounting systems, displaying his versatile expertise in the renewable energy industry. Philipp’s dedication and multifaceted background make him a valuable asset in shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.
