The South African – German Energy Programme, Capacities for the Energy Transition
(SAGEN-CET) collaborates with South African partners to strengthen public institutions’
role in executing a just energy transition. Funded by the German government and
implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
GmbH, SAGEN-CET works closely with the Department of Energy and Electricity (DEE),
the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA), and the South African Local
Government Association (SALGA).
We are offering a Graduate Internship: Intern – Gender Mainstreaming Support, reporting to the SAGEN-CET Programme Manager. This six (06) month opportunity is designed for a motivated graduate ready to contribute to gender-responsive action, stakeholder engagement, and impactful communication within the energy sector.
