Head of SAGEN-CET
Anna heads the Capacities for the Energy Transition (CET) project within SAGEN. With a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations, Anna’s professional journey has developed at the interface of sustainability governance and institutional capacity building. Before taking on her role in SAGEN, she advised the African Union Commission on capacity building, process management and digital transformation in Ethiopia. Her experience further includes posts at the Potsdam Centrum for Policy and Management, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung United Nations Liaison Office and the German Bundestag. Anna’s dedication to empowering professionals in navigating the South African energy sector reform and her extensive experience in development cooperation underscore her ability to drive impactful change in complex and dynamic environments.
Anna’s aspiration for SAGEN-CET is that the project will continue to be perceived as strong partner in equipping public institutions for the energy sector reform.
